Celebrate LORD KRISHNA’s Presence for ten days

Billions of years ago, energies from the Ocean of Consciousness and the energies of the Primordial Goddess were combined to create a huge field of Divine Energy.

The main role of this field of energy is to maintain balance in Creation, particularly in the Material Cosmos. The Divine energy helps maintain the equilibrium of everything from sub-atomic particles to atoms, planets, suns, solar systems and galaxies. In other words, everything in our Universe requires this Divine energy for sustenance.

The core of this field of energy is the Divine Personality, Mahavishnu, who takes birth on our earth in different forms whenever unrighteousness dominates our world, and restores harmony and peace. These are the ten Avatars of Mahavishnu.

Lord Krishna is the eighth Avatar of Mahavishnu, who took birth several thousand years ago and gifted us the Bhagavadgita. He taught humanity the Path of selfless service for attaining Yoga (Union with the Divine).

17th August 2014, was Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary. His energies descended to the earth on Janamastami at 12 midnight, as it happens every year. They fill the entire earth, enter every house and remain there for ten days.

During these ten days, let us try to experience Lord Krishna in our Meditations and at other times.

The Sacred month of Ashada Masa

On 28th June, we entered the most auspicious month of the year, known as Ashada Masa in Sanskrit. This is the month during which we receive the Highest and the Purest energies directly from the Source of All, the realm of God Himself.

Since these energies are so powerful, there are no inauspicious moments in this month. This period is like a gift from God, and is most suited for intense Meditations.

In the past, people knew about the sacredness of this month and therefore, they would not waste any time in worldly matters like marriages and other celebrations; they would spend all their time in Spiritual activities that would help them advance spiritually.

Over the years, this knowledge got distorted and people started believing that Ashada Masa is inauspicious for worldly activities. Its importance for Spiritual activities was forgotten.

The energies that the earth is receiving keeps increasing in intensity and reaches the peak on 12th July. This day receives the maximum energies and is known as Guru Poornima. The real Guru is God Himself, who takes us from darkness to Light. The month ends on 26th July.

So, let us make the most of this Divine Gift of Ashada Masa by meditating and channelling Light as much as possible and spread peace to our troubled world. (Based on the teachings of Guruji Krishnananda)

THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE BEHIND LIGHT CHANNELLING

When we wish another well, when our elders bless us, behind all genuine acts and words of love and kindness there is only a pure-hearted intent. So too with Divine Energies; our honest wish to help other human beings, to make our world, our immediate surroundings and our own lives better, is enough for the Divine Forces to respond.

‘Energy follows intent’ – this is the operating principle behind Light Channelling. Abiding by the Law of Freewill, Divine Light despite all its unlimited potential will not act. A mere request for Light to spread through us is all that is required. 

Visualization technique is just an aid. We need not try to see the Light. It vibrates at a very high frequency due to which it is almost impossible to see It, unless of course we purify ourselves or our higher faculties are active. Even sensing Light is not easy. Very few are sensitive to subtle Energies. We can experience Light as Peace and unconditional Love. Intend for Divine Light to spread through you and It will. 

It is not imperative to see or sense Light, it works irrespective. The evidence of Light Channelling will be in the positive changes. Many have already benefited. At times the results take time to manifest and sometimes the receiver may reject the Light. Nevertheless, it is our duty to help ourselves and the world.

Light is everywhere. So why channel?

Light is the Creative Intelligence behind the Creation. Light is the formless God. From this Light, an ocean of Consciousness emerged, and from that this whole Creation. This Light is everywhere in the Creation. Light is energy. It carries within Itself Love, Wisdom and Energies. This Light is not the physical light. It is very subtle and pervades the higher subtler realms.

Light is everywhere and yet we have to channel It because of the Law of Freewill. Every human being has the right to choose good or bad and everything in between. Those who want Peace and positivity from the individual to the global level have to use their Freewill and bring about the changes. The system of governance, education, finance and economics, healthcare, etc can be improvised. 99% of the world population does not have the authority or the means to affect big definitive changes.

Light Channelling is a Silent Revolution of bringing about positive changes at the grass-roots level of thoughts, emotions and hence action. Light Channelling cleanses the environment of negative vibrations enabling positive actions. Divine Light carries the energies of Healing, Love, Peace and Positivity. These energies help our Transformation into better human beings. When the quality of our thoughts, emotions and actions improve, conflicts will reduce and efficiency improves. With this, our life, society and the world will be a better place.

Maha Shivaratri (or Sacred Period of Maha Shivaratri)

Tomorrow (27.02.2014) is the Sacred day of Maha Shivaratri. At midnight tomorrow, the Great Rishis (Light Masters) travel to the Divine Plane of Lord Shiva and bring a part of Him with them to our earth. So, Lord Shiva literally comes down to earth.

Lord Shiva is generally known as the Destroyer, because His energies are required for the destructive processes of the Cosmos. But the energies of Creation and Sustenance are also in Him.

On the following morning before Sunrise, Lord Shiva enters every house as a ray of Light. His Divine Energies will be available on this earth as Light for ten days.

The Rishis apprise Lord Shiva of the Spiritual condition of this earth and its people. Based on this, Lord Shiva may give instructions to the Rishis, who are the administrators of this earth.

On the first day of Shivaratri, there is a custom of staying awake through the night. This practice is called ‘Jagarana’ in Sanskrit, which literally means, not sleeping. Just staying awake one night does not help us spiritually in any way.

‘Jagarana’ is not about sleep deprivation. It is to be understood as Being Aware or Awakening. It is being aware of the Presence of Lord Shiva on earth.

During the ten days of Lord Shiva’s stay on earth, we can absorb more of His energies by meditating and channelling Light more, and also by trying to be aware of His energies and His Presence throughout the day.

May the Lord’s Divine energies destroy all the negativity and ignorance in us and help us awaken.

A Healing Experience - Seema Almel

One night I could not sleep and I was feeling very restless. This was because I had travelled a lot and my body was too fatigued. I did not want to disturb Guruji Krishnananda or the Rishis to heal my pain. However I was quietly squirming and mentally blurted the name of Lord Krishna. By the fourth time I called out His name, instantaneously the pain vanished! I saw that my body smiled. And then I slept peacefully. 

I intuitively feel that it was Guruji who healed me. In any case, Divine Grace descends without prayer, whether we deserve it or not.
